Not sure why this is doing this or how to fix it. I am not sure what button on my computer i pushed but I tried typing in a name and now everytime I hit the letter "r" it kicks me out of editing whatever box I am in and sends me to another. I borrowed a fellow divers IR connection to download some dives, installed the software and tried editing info in the software - dive buddy, location etc. I know the interface for pc/mac is expensive for just an IR port, I read somewhere that any IR receiver will work for it, I am going to try a cheap IR receiver and see. The one button is easy to use, yes you have to go back around and start over if you miss something (oh well takes another 10 seconds or so to go back). The backlight is dim but since I don't night dive yet I can't really give it a bad review for the backlight yet. It would not work with USB connectors, only the old parallel connectors.I have only been diving for a little over a year, I have a good dive shop near by and a group of us go out almost every weekend in the summer. I have a leonardo, the official interface, a macbook (osx 10.10.) and the original cressi software for mac. It would not work with a laptop on the mains, only with the internal battery. My OS had meanwhile been upgraded to OS 10.10.4 and I wondered if this was the problem. Next time I came to download, nothing, no connection again. I re-installed two or three times and suddenly it worked. The software with the interface was not suitable for OS10.10.3 which I had installed so I downloaded the new version from the Cressi website. All I can see are 3 icons for Run, Run Continuously. I open the App, the blue light comes on on the Cressi interface. Hi - has anybody managed to get the MacBook interface to work for the Cressi Leonardo Ive downloaded the latest software from, it appears to have installed ok. Its depth is rated at a maximum of 400 ft or 121 m. I have had the same problem with my Leonardo and iMac. The Cressi Leonardo dive computer has 3 operating modes with dedicated nitrox, air, and gauge diving mode.
